Anick Silencieux, Founder & Executive Director of Support Black Charities

Anick Silencieux is a proud Black woman fascinated by her culture. Born in Montreal-Quebec but whose parents are from Haiti, she is relentlessly driven to inspire compassion, encourage and support others within her community.

Her curiosity and ambition naturally led her towards several volunteer positions such as fundraising specialist, digital marketer, outreach worker, speaker, and mentor for several organizations in Canada and USA.

Anick, who’s professional background is in Electrical Engineering, is today fulfilling her social aspirations as the Founder & Executive Director of Support Black Charities (SBC).

She’s using the work ethic gained during 15+ years in the corporate world, to passionately and diligently build up SBC’s organizational capacity, programs, outreach, impact and community partnerships while assuming day-to-day operations.

These days, Anick is busy raising awareness about Black Philanthropy as the key to building a thriving and healthy Black Ecosystem while encouraging and facilitating harmonious codependent relationships between its 3 main pillars: Black community, Black organizations, and Black businesses.

She’s someone who realizes the importance of building up Black communities globally by inspiring people to give back.  There are already organizations doing incredible work within the Black community and Anick hopes that SupportBlackCharities will continue to highlight them.
